i know this may sound like a really weird question... but i would like to know if it is the supremes to sing the song "my guy." it's the same song they use in "sister act" but they changed the words to "my God." my friend told me that it was the supremes... but i can't find the lyrics anywhere on the net. thanx... and please email me back asap.

hunniepie@hotmail.com

Editor's note: "My Guy" was sung by Mary Wells (who is sometimes confused in print with original Supreme Mary Wilson owing to the similarities in their names). It spent two weeks at #1 and a total of 13 weeks on the pop charts and 15 weeks on the r&b charts.

Dear Tony, My name is Teresa Glover, but I am called Sister Tee. I am writing to you because I am Mary Wilson's goddaughter and I am so angry over this so-called Supremes reunion that I am seeing red as I write. Diana Ross has repeatedly slighted and stepped on Mary over the years, being the nasty, spiteful bitch that she is. Yet, when she set out to organize this tour, Mary graciously granted her permission to use the name Supremes. She didn't have to because Mary owns the rights to that name. True to form, Miss Fish turns around and steps on Mary again by playing her with the money; only offering Mary a pittance of two million dollars to Diana's fifty million she's paying herself. I am seeking the help of all the diehard, true Supremes fans out there who are tired of Diana and her bullshit. I am trying to organize a protest outside of the Garden on July 6 during the concert. Mary could easily shut down the whole show by withdrawing her consent to use the Supremes name but she would never do anything so trifling. I just want to show support for the one true Supreme. My e-mail address is teresa_glover_g@hotmail.com. You have my permission to pass it on to anyone who may be interested in participating on that day. I hope you will join me in standing up for Mary. Thank you, Sister Tee

very nice pics! i'm really upset about the tour this summer. lynda & scherrie may receive some exposure, but this is not what FANS have been hoping for!wonder what cindy really thinks (and for that matter, Jean - she wasn't told 'til it was a done deal) it's kinda funny how lynda has become the big Supremes cheerleader, since she was a member for such a SHORT time! wish mary would get a decent recording deal!

UNBELIEVABLE! I am in 100% SHOCK! As Johnny Come Lately 70's Supremes fan I thought I would NEVER find info on these beautiful Supremes. I am so grateful for a website, such as this one to display info for new fans like me to discover! Although I was born in 1970 and missed out on collecting any material with Jean, Lynda, Scherrie and Susaye I STILL am looking for Motown to re-release THEIR contributions to the SUPREMES legacy. Message from LARNZELL, Hello fellow 70's SUPER Supremes fans! Could someone please give me the FACTS, no opinions or rumors on how the Supremes were chosen to tour with Diana Ross on the "Return to Love" tour? Did the promoters or Diana contact Jean Terrell or Susaye Green? I am going CRAZY and I got to know the answer to these questions. Larnzell Harper Jr. harperj7@hotmail.com

Great site for fans of the "forgotten" Supremes; those of us who thought the 7o's group was far superior to the one headed by Diana Ross, who was so relentlessly shoved into public consciousness at every turn. The 70's group(particularly Mary, Cindy and Jean) were the epitome of a group; their music blended their voices; there were true harmonies; instead of using background as mere props for the lead singer. It is nice to know I'm not alone!

Great idea. Great pictures and information. You've given everyone online a great access for information about Mary Wilson, Jean, Scherrie, and all the other ladies in the Supremes. Love the pictures. Nice to see some personal collected items instead of all the same pics we always see and love.

Keep up the good work.

Kia ora again from Hana in N.Z., I am a music lover from wayback (born in1970), primarily raised on Motown. I love to sing, I also adore Ben Harper, almost everyone on the new Nutty Proffessor C.D., and even though as a parent I slightly disapprove of certain lyrics and suggestions I am hooked on EMINEM's groovy sound, Janet Jackson, the eternal Marvin Gaye and the list just goes on and on. Anyhoo, I was just wondering if anyone can help me with lyrics and chords to 'Someday (we'll be together)' because I am computor illiterate and don't know where to look!!! I have dribbled on for long enough, don't know if anyone is even going to read this, but just incase, Shanksh bewy much,

Tony, I attended a Mary Wilson concert in Laughlin, Nv. on Wednesday (10/24) and it was fantastic. She has so much energy and personality. She received about three standing ovations. The audience (including us) did not want her to leave the stage and she was quite accomodating. The drive from Mesa was well worth the time.

Hello,

Great site; the 'Everyday is a new day' review is a really good review -although I prefer 'Take me higher' personally. At last, somebody who doesn't think that bashing Ross is fashionable. A question : are you the ex-producer of disco hits in the 70's (France Joli, Geraldine Hunt, Freddie James) ?

Au revoir,
